ever wonder how you get over a death...?
was it quick and painless or did
the taker sit and hold their hand for hours?
did he whither in pain as he was slain?
or simply drift away?
were tears in his eyes as he thought of you?
or a smile on his face because he new
that though he left from this world
you'd still be here, forver feeling his
scorn?
are you the one left to cry, each time
another loved on dies?
why death is so creepy to some I'll
never know.
always fearing, forever weary, of some
pain or mistake you made.
I say to hell with death, I'm gonna live forever,
in the arms of my true love.....
I guess that means this'll be my last letter.
true love isn't real, it follows in hand
with forever.
so as a goodbye, I read my own last rites:
Wash your hands,
don't touch the glass,
check your teeth,
wipe your...face.
speak up when told,
and sit up straight,
look the taker in the face.
if love does scorn,
dont cry, dont mourn,
others may in time think you daft,
but in truth you will
have the last laugh.
