I> on June 25th, 1975 on the Pine Ridge Reservation, South Dakota, a shootout developed
between the FBI and AIM {American Indian Movement}. This resulted in the killing of 3 men.
2 FBI agents and Joe Killsright Stuntz.. It was never proven that Leonard Peltier killed the two
agents. In fact to this very day the FBI admitted they DO NOT KNOW who killed them.
For more information: www.freepeltier.org or the book In the Spirit of Crazy Horse by Peter
Matthiesson. Thank you.

Twenty years have passed him by,
He sits there and wonders why,
The FBI don't give a damn,
Cause here sits an innocent man.

As a young man his people, they called,
There was trouble abound, their rights soiled.
A fight broke out and 3 men died
Two FBI and an Indian Man.

For 20 years he has sat and prayed
Hoping others listen to what he has said,
I have listened and I have prayed,
Hoping that this man has his way.

His spirit soars with the eagle above,
Walks the earth with bear and cub,
The wolf at nite calls his name
I know things will never be the same.

The government don't care and cannot see,
Here sits a man who wants to be free,
His family awaits that special day,
When Leonard will have his own way.

The eagle will soar in the sky so blue,
The bear and her cub will see it too,
The wolf will howl all through the nite,
And greet their friend in the sun so bright
