LESSON ON THE BLACKBOARD

filthy monsters -
a gift for a parasite
amongst seven deadly sins.
be not ashamed
to hang around the learned and,
peer through - and out
of the corners of old lenses.
be like a wild flamingo
and stand tall
in murky shallow waters.
pleasures gravitate in promised lands
by drinking the wines of vice.
babble like a drunk in all its folly.
beware of the poets -
they analyze too much!

?

Lately I'm not sure what your poems are about and use the title as a pointer but they are compelling reads.

beware of the poets -

they analyze too much! I'm trying to avoid that. LOL

pearl of a poem

a soup of words spiced with the wit of dc, a clever write excercising the grey matter right? hehehe

Great

I walk in the light and the dark. That makes this poem

right up my alley. This reads well and gives off great

pictures. The last line is the truth, and still it won't

set us free. real good one, sand

I am coming back

to read this again. Just wanted to say you are getting better and better. I don't even care with this is about, I love the phrasing and word choices. ok I do care what it is about, but the rest is fun on its own. ~annas
