A talented boy who loved to play ball;
He practiced and played winter, spring, summer, fall.
The boy mastered his gift with plans to go far
To play pro-ball; To be a pitching star.

An unfortunate accident made him alter his plan.
His life would be different had he not broke his hand.
He imagined himself playing for big money.
But it was a girl that would make his days sunny.

Forever changed; the plan to play for wealth,
But he’d have what he needed: love and good health.
The pair became lovers, better yet, best friends.
And life would be rich beyond when their time ends.

The moral of the story is simple, you see?
The road to riches, starts with you and me.
So when things don’t work out or don’t go your way…
Remember, a bigger plan will come together some day.
