Do not think that life is true,
for life is not worth living
Linger everyday a while and
think of sadness and crying
think of the broken hearted
the blind
the poor
and the misguided
and think of yourself within
For no one will know the colour
of your heart
the way it beats
and the way it cries
and the way it makes you live

Living is forever
it is a river of dreams
the darkness of a deep long passage

Everyday we play
so play it safe
and do not show how much you need
Needing is not good
just as love is untrue
untrue to the friend
the self
and the lover

Know yourself
and know no one else

Do all this and you will feel
no pain

for whenever you feel pain...
you live...
And
life is not worth living..

another bittersweet one

I like your poems. They are painful but true

~~

Pain denied

So's pleasure too;

With life well lived

Pain's pale alongside

Pleasure's reward.
