I am still awash with you
as the memories fall
as we did
into crisp sheets
and yielding flesh;

I yearn for the sweet warmth
of your eyes measuring the world
as devoured
moment by moment.
Rich rhythm and life
birthing and pulsing
beneath
as we flow;
gasping,
reaching,
still.
