This was inspired by a cantankerous computer at work.

* * *

I touch the keys
And start to type.
What's the password?
It's slipped my mind.

Trying to think,
I type some more.
"Open sez me!"
Won't swing the door.

I know you're told
To do this job.
Let no one in
Sans password.

But just because
My mind won't work,
Is no excuse
To be a jerk.

Let me log in,
You perverse beast!
Come on now, I
Have friends to meet!
