At times like this I feel confused
And with such a life I'm not amused
I have tried to play it cool as ice
But feel I'm paying some terrible price

To some it's no more than a wicked joke
But at times I cry and weep and choke
For it feels like my heart's stuck in my throat
And my life no more than a sunken boat

Most of my years were spent alone
But not because I'm sort of drone
I have emotions just like you
It's just that my skies are hardly blue
