There are two ways to be alone...
One is by choice.
For solitude and the peace it brings.
To unclutter your thoughts,
to concentrate on matters of importance.
Or merely because you wish to be alone.

The second is called loneliness.
Alone by circumstance.
Or fate,
or loss.
Unable to connect.
A void.

Alone by choice is,
peaceful quiet
while lonely
is loud emptiness,
jumbled thoughts
and emotions in turmoil.
Pain
Heartache
and fear reside there.

Alone is very different then lonely..
Alone in a room
there are doors that open,
leading out and into other places.
Lonely in a room
finds the doors locked
keeping you a prisoner of yourself.

Whatever..

The choice is yours..
deal with it.
Escape loneliness..
You can if you try...
try very hard.

Open doors and let the world in
and maybe you won't be alone...
