Today I see
And today I feel
But I want it to end
It's all too real

The ache in the numbness
The sorrow inside
It's too much to bear
When there's no place to hide

I pictured a life
Foolishly let my heart love
Then I saw the truth of him
My emotions war, push and shove

I wade in the emptiness
Letting the pain drown me
Breathing in the tainted water
An end to anguish my plea

I wish I had never felt again
I'd die to take it all back
For in the moment when truth struck
It became apparent I'd always lack

A sob on the murky winds of time
I am long ago forgotten
I become nothingness
In a world of all that's rotten

My place in here among the graves
Where my tears can feed the ground
I'll live and die here
Always in sorrow I'm bound
