Long Distance Truckers

Traveling life’s highway, hauling heavy loads
Running things my way, I’m king of the road.
Unions, schedules, overtime, my job never ends,
Citizens band radios, talking to my friends,
Kicking tires, off-road diners, running 18 wheels,
Everyone needs me; I know that’s how they feel.
Revving up my diesel, easing through the gears,
Sick of office working? Try sitting in my chair.

Hey good buddy...

put the hammer down, take another 'bennie' and keep that semi rolling. Neat poem.

Nice

Being a truck, I usually don't like poetry but I liked this one for some reason (lol).
