LONNIE 7712060TT/LAW

By CARL EDGAR LAW
( c ) 1992

We’re creeping unbidden
into an affair

It stalks behind
snowmen and stooks
unbidden there;
unbidden

Drowsy, wool-sweater-necked
smile is not seen
love
stalking in stooks
and snowmen

Drag out the
carcass of it
let us
see the kill
