you know
maybe I never
paid enough
attention
to what
flowers
smelled like

I was always
too wrapped up
in your scent
to care

and maybe
your eyes
do reflect
heaven

but truly
I always thought
maybe heaven
reflected
you

I read and
hear and see

smiles like
roses
whispers
like soft
springtime
breezes
hair like
fine silk

but I think
to me

your smile
is roses
your whisper
is springtime
breezes, softer
than anything
I've ever known
and your hair
is the finest
silk

there is
nothing like you

nothing I could
lift in it's
purpose or function
to ever compare
to anything about

you

and I can only
think

I am complete

with you
and me

as us

I am complete
