When the veneer of our concupiscence has been stripped away, I realise that lust and love are intertwined.

To pretend otherwise is insincere.

I cannot not stop caring for my lover, no matter how brutally primaeval the sex is.

The nature of the sex might differ.

The depth and the hue of the relationship might contrast between lovers.

The humanity that gives rise to lust cannot fail but to produce love in its way.

It is just a question of degree.
