I can’t help but marvel, at the ways in which you touch other people’s lives.

Dreadful and terrifing things, when touched by you, blossom and begin to thrive.

Empty voids become filled to the brim, flowing over with what you offer from within.

People always comment, that I must be a generous and charitable soul.

For sharing you with those around us, for watching you heal others and make them whole.

To myself I always chuckle, I am amazed at how blind the world can be.

You are not some piece of charity or some gift that comes from me.

An angel that alighted upon the ground. I piece of heaven I somehow found.

You are something rare, a truly wondrous find.

I did naught to create or mold you, before I met you I was blind.

I share you because I must, it is the only thing to do.

I am just amazed and often honored to spend my life with you.

An animal or a person, if they have a hurting heart.

You rush to their side to help them, a piece of your soul to impart.

Upon the waters, you cast your bread.

Love and compassion are the words that you spread.

A little time, a little love. Appreciating a bountiful gift that was offered from above.

You aren’t mine, you will never be.

You belong to the world, it is your destiny.

So free and so easy, so willing to give. Showing others the way, the reason to live.
