LOWESTOFT BLUES

The sea water in Lowestoft is brown,
Some brave young people would swim,
They're brave to live in this town,
As future is looking more dim.

Exploiting merchants' field day,
Preparing their energy wars,
Heart-breaking for humans to stay,
And watch this brown death on their shores.

We waste the gas and the oil,
The whales we execute,
We burn, we consume and we spoil,
The land and the sea we pollute.

We'll get a big nasty surprise,
Before we have time to think,
Someday the oceans will rise,
And Norfolk, and Suffolk will sink.
