So much in so little time I have lost
Sad and lonely
Tears still falling
Heart still aching
Back out onto the dating scene
Here I am
Afraid yet willing and ready to see if I can find someone who can
Make me smile again
Young
Pretty
I have a heart of gold
Left only sightly bruised and used by a heart of cold
Nice smile
Sweet charming personality
I think you might really come to like me
If you give yourself the chance to
Make me smile again
I have quite alot to offer the right man
I know that I do
Guess that I'm just still a little bit gun shy
Scared that if I reach out once more
With everything I call love in my soul
This time my heart won't survive the painful rejection of another romance gone bad
So please, please I beg of you
Be gentle
Be careful of this heart still so fragile and scarred
Give me a reason
Any reason that you can that you think will
Make me smile again
Thought that I was in love once before
Sadly that turned out to be
Nothing more then fantasy and wasted time
Now I long only to find
A true and lasting love
Something sweet and perfect and pure
Something to stay with me
This time for a lifetime
