Me

     yours
      the strings attached

a tug
     and I wave
            sway
               I dance
     to your rhythm
      to your rhyme.

Hesitate?

     Cut the strings

I breathe
     and stand.

You walk away
     no strings.

Like KOLKORE

I've just read a series of yours. I totally agree with his comment below.

More like this one soon – yes?

I have read three poems of yours in a row, and now this one. Each shows remarkable mastery of a different dimension of poetic expression. Obviously you demonstrate intelligence, awareness to the possibilities and willingness to experiment with different aspects of the poetic tools: rhythm; metaphor; the distribution of the words in the space (and in the sequence of reading). Here it’s the relations between the physical space and the content. What a delight! The truth is that usually I am a bit reluctant to see poets ‘painting’ with the words. Not so here, it’s playful and intelligent. There is no simplistic effort to portray the content with the words. More like teasing us. <P>

As I said in my review to “The line” (another little gem – run and read if you haven’t had a chance yet): more like this one soon – yes?

Work in space and words

Wonderful, as it is simple and clear. Yet, like a crystal, allows you a different view of the same object, if you look at it from a different (or a combined)angel. These here are the spacial arrangements of the words, helping to qualify the meaning of the words. On top of that of course, the space defines the rhythm, the music of the poem which is another component of the overall meaning. So many possibilities!

Tied one to the other

This has so much meaning on so many levels.

Different look from most other writes.
