I may need a few minutes
to dance around what I need to say.
Because I'm hating
every moment I don't speak aloud.

Pasted over a gaping hole
a relentless wound,
is a sheet of paper
to keep it hidden away.

It's shredding and tearing
at the edges.

this poem speaks....

louder in my ears. the title i'm playing favorite to. the imagery is nice and i relate to the wound being bandaged. i guess i can't help but be steered by this one.....both are nice however.......don
