Wow,
it is amazing that you are here!
It has been a while,
that anyone has made me smile,
when they start to stare.

I wonder if you would tease me,
like your lips do.
It would please me,
if you too, also knew.

Funny,
that I, at this time, at this age, with my cynical mind,
am falling in love with you.

I would blush at the thought of my crush.
I would day dream until I begin to scream.

It saddens me when I think I am to old to relish,
what these feelings I called are childish.

I can't even begin to think,
afraid that my heart might sink.
At the thought that I am to mature,
to have feelings that are so pure.

When ever I should think of you,
as the moment allows me to,
I would feel impotent,
completely ensnared by my contentment.

Captured and trapped by your eyes,
enslaved and conquered by your smiles.

Which brings me to my great demise,
this torrid feeling that I despise.
That won't allow me to love,
resolving myself to stand above.

Convinced this poem is enough!
Than to give in and admit that I am in love.
