MEETING CHRISTINA

I met Christina just three weeks ago,
Invited both we were in a friend's place,
In her or me the pain does not show,
It was not always possible such grace.

We had a civilized friendly talk,
The first without tension all these years,
It comes as a surprise or a shock,
That nothing has been left of the old tears.

She stayed forty minutes, then she went,
But I remained there through the night,
Nothing has changed but her time is spent,
The love, the dream, the jealousy, the fight.
