As I wait for your train to arrive
My insides burn with the desire
I have held for you for so long
The flames that have grown stronger
With every day I have counted
Until the day we can meet
67, 66, 65.......
3, 2, 1...
The day has finally arrived!
As the train slowly approaches
I think of our arms entwined
In our first embrace
I imagine our lips meeting
In our first kiss
The train pulls into the station
My heart pounds
My mind races
Will you be there?
The doors open and
Swarms of people push
To be the first to get to
Where they are going
I look for you but can't see you
Through the crowd of people
Then I see you emerge from the doors
You step down slowly
As this is the first step
Towards me, towards us
I see your hair
that I want to run my fingers through
I see your ears
that I want to whisper into
I see your face
that I want to caress
I see your lips
that I want to kiss
I see your eyes
that I want to fall into, over and over again
Then you walk to me, and we touch
And I know it is right
