Health declining daily but still forced to push on
Held hostage in a body that rejects sustenance
The sun beats down to ferment any thought
More emotional slop in the trough
The pasture of life is fetid as of late
Another gritty nightmare called being alive
Excrement of existence deepening by the second
Electric fences others create shocking boundaries
Anything shared is unacceptable
Dead vegetation of thought stamped down by the hoards
Neither option is acceptable
Not wanting another repugnant day
Nonetheless sick of the one that's here
