How would I know my life
filled with such gladness?

Would come through my
Best friend..

You are the epitome of goodness
Gentle and tender..

Always ready for the talks
Of our world..

We laugh we can cry
We both know it's special..

You were here when my life
took a different turn..

We can sit in silence
yet saying so much to one another..

We finish each other's sentence's
Only needing a few words to convey...

Our acceptance of one another
I didn't know how lucky I was...

When you entered this world
I realized I just gave birth ..

To my best friend.

Thank you my daughter
For filling my life so very full..

When I grow up
I want to be just like you ..
