Lust burns.
Love hurts.
What I feel isn't quite as painful.

Fate turns gears of coincidence.
Matters of conscience pit my id against my intellect.

It hurts every time that I see you cry.
At least you don't have to keep your pain inside trying to help the wounded heal.

it just takes some time...

"Fate turns gears of coincidence" or is it the other way around?
