If dreams were reality
I'd sleep all day.
Lay back with a smile on my face.

No fantasy eight to five
just you and me.
The end of the old rat race.

Feel the constant sea breeze
steady eight knots.
Keeping bugs and sand at bay.

Just enough to fly a kite
keep the  sweat down.
While dreaming our lives away.

Yeah...
      If dreams were reality
bet your sweet ass.
That mine would be at the beach.

Paradise

is floating away on the salty breeze your words created.

I loved your poem,

it had a sunny at the beach style smile to it <grin>

8 knots <grin>

Sitting on the dock of the bay

There are people you can't separate from a force of nature and it is impossible to think of you, Sandy, without the water. I see you're keeping well and dreaming of summer waves, as am I.

See you on the shore.

That's the life!

If only we could lead such carefree existences.

classic sandspike...

This is one of those poems you read, lean back in your chair, and say "Right on."

Nice one, enjoyed!
