Tears slide down her cheeks and she brushes them back gently
Her mind on the one she loves
He has been gone but a few hours, yet they seem an eternity
Dragging on slowly, like a giant snail
Making her miss him more and more
She feels silly that the tears come
But her love for him is so intense
That a minute seems like an hour
While an hour seems like a year
The longer he is away from her
The more alone and depressed she feels
And the only cure for her troubles
Is to hear him walk through their door
