Wicked smiles
Thrown out to those around,
Along with caustic words
And longing eyes
But nobody seems to notice
The inside I struggle to hide.
I'm sorry I say,
Stumbling for an explaination
For those in their good graces.
Ineptly, surely.
It seems the reasons that they want
Are not the reasons that they get
And I'm left
To be left alone.
