fight the desire to write you
with your own sharp
hyper realism, make my mind twist
on Birkenstock toe
like Kaiser Soze on open mic night

white plates without markings
become clues for the hair lipped inspector
spoons tap glass and request
One more,
just one more time.

Spin me around
the potters wheel
pink eraser in one hand,
water color brush in the other

soak me,
salt me,
splotched and
rusted

desperate for the closeness of
yourself
in me

I especially like the image of "make my mind twist

on Birkenstock toe".

A good read.

Loved the

imagery , especially the hair lipped inspector

That creates and almost 1940's film noir feel to the whole thing.

and the potters wheel is a nice touch also

very well done

thank you
