A Heron steps
in water lightly
its long legs
in a slow pace
stepping
.........step
..............step

along the river's
greeting shore
this long neck bird
rhythm walking
paced
......watches
..............steps

hunting the water
its only chore
to end the rumblings
of it's stomach's roar
splash
.......neck recoils
...................swallows
steps

ampersand (&) followed by nbsp;

that will let you indent those lines without the dots...

for each (&)nbsp; without the parenthesis you will get a single blank space. Didn't vote on this one, but I'm not sure what the 50 will do.

A visual poem

Art can paint the feathers on a bald eagle in flight.Make you want to take cover as th shadow passes you by.

Art's muse strikes again;

a picturesque piece,

stop-action in motion.

The Art of Life

You tend to describe nature like non-other. A true feel for the wilderness and the animals that inhabit there. I do enjoy your nature poetry as well as your ZMP poems. Please continue to fill our minds and hearts with your RLP~ river life poetry.
