Rain
the succour of
parched Earth
                         Gaia Be Mine
embrace us
Verdant
in your clothes
Verdant
in your nakedness

when the vales
and valleys
rolling, waving
                         glens and dales
resound to the
sound:
the guttural cry
gurgling off
                         slowing to a moan

What is it?
The doe
                         transfixed
unable to move
trembling as
she looks
                         fixated
immobile
Or is it you
Looking at
                         the hole
created for you
by you
and of
                         you

He has drunk
deep and sated
loll in splendor
                         for times abated
