scarred, stitched up and riveted,
dissected and then remade,
heated to molten plasma
and cruelly rearranged,
on waking I look the same
but inside forever changed,
implanted with nanobots,
networked to your tender pain,
I vibrate like Frankenstein
in your foreboding tower.

winds buffet the castle walls,
wolves howl in the dark forests,
heavy snows begin to fall.
