I woke you up…with a soft kiss on your lips,

                   The moonlight still played on our pillow

Raven hair reflects its light and cast your eyes in its shadow

                   I feel your breath, warm on my neck.

Slide your hands up… hold my face close to yours…

                   Press your body against mine, if only for a moment.

The night is getting old, Orion the hunter fades to the west

                   All too soon the sun will rise, to light the sky

The starting gun of yet another busy,  preoccupying day

                   For now we lie together in the calm waters of the night

  Passions awake, with the silver moonlight to guide our bodies.
