As I lay entangled between the sheets
Anticipating tonight’s promise of sensual treats
The pale moonlight pours into the room
My remaining sanity it consumes

As my lover claims me into his arms
I fall under the moon’s erotic charms
It weaves its silvery promise around me
I blindly succumb to the passion that surrounds me

Butterfly kisses flutter along my side
Long lost is my self-restraint and pride
Back arched to meet his thrust
The wave of exquisite pleasure blanketing me fast

We ride together in total abandonment
Beneath the palest of moonshine
To the highest peak of utter fulfilment
Our bodies wanting - entwined

The moonlight basks us in its ethereal light
As we love and lust in the dark of night
I will find solace in the arms of my lover
As we dance the dance of love forever

When the new day begins I will yearn for the night
It is then I am released from my plight
Moonlight come and return my sight
So I may love and lust again as I did tonight
