i dare you to know me
go ahead and say my name
let each onyx letter drop from your lips
summon up the fire in your eyes
and whisper to me what i am-
go ahead and announce me!

and when you recognize my being
will you dare to remain too close?
how brave are you? will you stay
or run from my sharp toothed grin?
not many remain long
after the fangs have been bared...
blood will have blood, they say
and after my darkness has seduced you
i will kiss your tempting neck
and bring you to heights of bliss
you never dared dream of...

so tell me who you think i am, or what
and trust only in the silvery moon
for she and i alone decide your fate tonight
