Every now and then
you find a special friend who will never let you down.
And you're my friend its true with the little things you do
I always want you around.
I love you with my heart and soul, I will always be here and so
I am letting you know tonight.
That I will never leave your side even when our love is being tried
because you never felt so right.
If I wish upon a star in the sky, will you be with me until I die?
For now it's only in my dreams.
Then one day it will be and we will finally come to see
love is as easy as it seems.
Now my friend I kiss you goodnight, in my arms I'll hold you tight
and never let you go.
As you drift to sleep for awhile, still feeling some denial
because you can't believe I love you so.
