Darkness clouds my surroundings,
No lights shine here,
No ray of hope,
Merely some evil and misery.

How can I explain all the things?
I still find hard to understand,
The reasons you produced,
And yet there was no evidence.

Here one second gone the next,
Was this merely a simple test?

I don’t mourn for you,
Because you’re already gone,
From my memory, I try to remember,
And blankness envelops me.

Teardrops fell,
Angry words were said,
Unforgivable things,
I’m not ready to forget.

My lips curve with the good memories,
They form a line with the bad,
I look downcast with the rest,
But I still remember you best.

Finally I discover,
I can do so much better,
You were simply there,
For me to test my wings,
Now I know how to fly.

Taking flight...

Looking back with yearnings and regrets - because you're already gone. Wings tested - now I can fly. Beautiful!
