Mud

(Note This Poem is Written To My Daughter for the look on her face when I was giving myself a facial)

I looked at my mom
And I was aghast
For there on her face
She had donned a brown
Mask

It was drippy and goopy
And smelt pretty strange
I knew at that moment
My mom was deranged

She saw my wide eyes and she started to laugh
Oh My Lord, Child I swear I'm not daft!
This is a mud mask, of mine own creation!
(Personally to me it was a complete abomination).

It dripped of her eyelids
And slid down her nose
I just had to ask her if she needed the garden hose
She looked at me a moment then said
I suppose.

Yes--
I looked at my mom and I WAS aghast
For there on her face she had donned
A Mud Mask.

The End.
