I watched the river
its brown, murky water flow
thinking, how for the fish
it must be hard to go...
...swimming through life
never really getting to see
that far ahead of them
never knowing what's coming
I thought about life
and how it's hard to envision
what's around the corner
do I have adequate provisions
the minutes and hours to come
preparing, should I even bother
am I liken a fish swimming
through brown and murky water

RhymeFairyover 12 years agoI like the murky. Should have given me more of ... but for what I am given ... I am thankful. Life sure is.. at times.. liken to fish ~ smelly and yet, delightful to eat .. *winks*
