Of all the flowers in my garden
None are pretty, beg my pardon
But to you they feel shame
To which beauty earned its name

Nor a diamond could it be
A better sight than you to see
Nor does harmony know a sound
Sweeter than your voice around

Nor does touch know any grace
Quite as lovely as your face
And taste can find no quips
In the flavour of your lips

But the treasure of this hoard
Is the heart which I adore
And the spirit that so bright
turns my darkness into light

So deny my words you can
But I stay where I began
Firm in word and in motion
You alone have my devotion
