Flowers so pretty so fragile so soft
Made by the gods from so far aloft
You snip at their stems as you hasten their end
To keep in a bowl just to show to your friend
You take me and use me just for your own pleasure
When done you just toss me and give me no measure
I'm just like your flowers you toss out when they wilt
You use me and lose me without any guilt
