Softly folded

Into place

Face of beauty

Body built to flow

A life given up to enjoy

Make others happy

A gift from heaven to have and hold

Yet he is so gentle

Easily hurt and torn

Tattered edges from others rough touches

Tattooed with scornful memories

His will is strong

In his soul I will find splendor

The ability to love is like no other

But may I keep him

This I wonder

His soft heart is bare and tender

A warmth released from his soul

A yellow light

A subtle glow

The need to be consumed by him

An overwhelming feeling

Love so deep can never be construde as a sin

Will I hurt him even more

This one thing I do not know

I'll take the chance and hold his heart

Even though our flesh may part our souls are one

My Paper Angel I will hold you gently
