Escaped her land, her veil,
Slipped the oppressing shroud,
She came so free,
Walked so tall and proud,
From Persia and France,
She would never say Iran,
She claimed her source.

Did I imagine her mystery,
Did I myself beguile,
No, I recall old shards of pleasures,
Reminiscing freshly tasted
Reharvested moments of the exquisite.
She was the luring desert,
Oasis richly blessed, that gave enriched life.

I'm astonished.....

.....that you would even read my twaddle. I absolutely love what you've done, giving each memory the space it needs to flower. S'ong is my favourite but they're all lovely. Thank you.
