Mystery

byBaron Waste©

Pages flipping, flashing by.
All conspiring to hide the lie.
Although you try not to look,
You are being drawn into the book.
A piece of history, a diamond chip.
Tossed and turned while pages flip
Lost in the current, an undertow.
You can't decide which way to go.
Cover to cover, front to back,
Or back to front, if you have the knack.
A lost idea at a blistering pace.
The mystery's solved, close the case.
