Nature has become angry
fighting back
finally, after so long
we watch the changes
with fear
revulsion at her fury

no longer
is man so sure
of their power
to overcome
the trials of nature

the whales throw themselves
upon beaches to die
the earth shakes
and the water swallows
snow falls in the desert
who is not afraid

only those who cannot see
beyond the daily grind
the price of oil
the government

Hey You!
Listen
or don‛t
the choice is yours
