Our vacation was near Mexico,
Real close to the Arizona line.
It was dark, by the time we'd arrived,
We'd started out on Navaho time!

The sky was turning, when we got up,
And the weather was looking real fine.
It was noon, before our guide arrived,
He was working on Navaho time!

Every morning was a big disgrace,
Because our mornings were the same kind.
Our guide just plain, couldn't understand,
He was living on Navaho time!

This habit we'd made, was hard to break,
It took us a little while to find.
The normal schedule, we'd used before,
We'd gotten used to Navaho time!!
