It’s hard to accept the way that we are
Different from most
Set apart by our needs
Seeking that love
Open to fear
Alone with our dreams
Needing the other

We walk a path of wild sensation
Delighting in pain
Hungry for service
Two sides of a coin
Empty apart
Hoping for healing
Needing the other

But when we find ourselves accepted
Desired as we are
Our hopes made flesh
This passion shared
And joys embraced
Then we are whole
Finding the other

So very true...

You're right... when we find ourselves accepted, we are so much happier. Thank you for this gift. ~ Red
