Slight tug on the line,
       get up......
run to the sand spike,
       pull rod....
too fast too strong long gone,
what am I fishing for?

Cast out a new bait,
        set drag....
sit down and drink up,
        the beer....
I just stay straight and wait,
here comes another one.

Not always in schools,
         alone......
patience is the key,
         recount....
see what it took to hook,
last beach mom swimming by.

It's never for keeps,
          release....
the swimming away,
          best view...
quick hello head to toe,
released without a clue.

cute~

loved this poem,

I wrote one similar called

'bait robber' only it had quite

a different ending,

humorously clever!
