to: John in Philly

I’ll give you beads..
if you show me these
And for a flash ..
i had a sash
of silver shining beads..
and I had stuck
mammaries in his mind
and with a glazed eye grin..
that boy he wasn’t movin on again..
he was all of 26 years old
son I said to this silly young man
there’s pretty young girls up there..
go on up..give them a stare..
and I moved and turned around
and he was...there..
and continued on
with his oogly stare
I gotta get a drink..
and my shadow trailed
And filled me with
his life details
In my eyes was someone rescue me…
go way kid..ya bother me…
in the mist of
smoke-filled haze
an shinin knight with eyes ablaze
stands so close...bends down near
and whispered softly in my ear
..for $10..I’ll save you..
blue eyed blonde
and I saw him tall
he told me your eyes tell it all
he whisked me a way down the street
not too far to a quiet little
less known bar
we played frank sinatra and bb king
had lustfully a one night fling
we talked and laughed
made lovers eyes
I felt his hands on my bare thighs
We stayed til dawn in tangled dance
And had ourselves a one night romance
One time lust..one time fling
He told me..
i just don’t do these things
And I said..me neither...
.but ..we did..
a hotel suite...fit for a king
a one time lustful lovers fling
twisted sheets his smooth pale skin
a married man had me in sin
He said I never expected this
And devoured me with a lovers kiss
He held me close and took me slow
Then it was time for me to go..
We had each other filled our needs
And I left this man
my silver beads

Clever clever

This is one of your better poems. The story, the rhyme, the metre in text. The hot Love expressed in a more permanent sense than the event, and so economically put. CLEVER.
