Nightloving

Lying beneath a sea of stars,
in your blue ocean bed
adrift in watery loving;

sharing jellybean kisses
of watermelon orange;
drinking in the poetry of your eyes,

savoring the sweet cinnamon sentences
which rest gently in my ears
then nestle in the quiet corners of my soul;

creating a warm baby oil haven
we retreat to in whispers,
a candlelight bath of the senses;

floating on roses,
I taste your lips,
covered in peppermint starlight.
